DMT News

DMT is now seven years old.

Back when DMT was founded, I never could have imagined that we’d still be here so many years later.  In a time when friends lists are replacing guilds as the main driver of social cohesion, and where WoW is no longer the only main-stream MMO around, I remain extremely proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish along the way.

For my part, I haven’t disappeared: as Muggus mentioned to those of you still raiding, I’m two weeks into a five week trip abroad.  I’ll be returning in mid-January.

Wishing all of you the best through the holidays and the new year,

- Tazz

DMT News

With Cataclysm well underway, I'm pleased to announce our latest officer selection.

Before I go into that, I'd like to thank again those who have worked with us through our last cycle to achieve the success that we did through the end of Wrath.  Downing Arthas when we did, dealing with multiple roster issues along the way, wasn't a foregone conclusion.  As before, your counsel has been extremely valuable to the continued success of our guild.

For our next cycle, the fifth since we started keeping track years ago, Detriment, Kafi, and Steam will be joining us.  This expansion has some serious challenges in store for guilds like DMT, not the least of which will be handling our 10's arrangement and refining our recruitment process.  Thank you again for your help here.

Finally, in addition to the above, I'd like to announce the promotion of Muggus and Reinbach to the position of council member.  Both have provided our guild tremendous active support in the past, and will continue to help shape the direction of our guild in the future.

Thank you - and good hunting,

- Tazzo

DMT News

It's officially here: after nearly six years, DMT finally has a new website.

Before anything, I'd like to thank two people in particular: first, Colphaer, for assisting with the website styling and some image creation.  Second, and most importantly, thank you to Saeran / Ravas, who spent a great deal of time investigating how to get our backing CMS installations up and running.

More is posted in the private forum, but you'll need to register first - please see the directions at the top of the general forum.

Enjoy,

- Tazz
